The Learn to Figure Skate Club was established in September 1978 to promote
the sport of amateur figure skating. This is a family run program for over
30 years.
Here’s a great opportunity for children 4 years of age or older to learn to skate on a
U.S.F.S.A. Basic Badge Program.
Each class includes a 25-minute lesson and a 25-minute practice.
The Badge Program encompasses the fundamentals of figure skating (Basic 1-8)
for the beginner skater, and freestyle skating (Freestyle 1-6) for the
intermediate and advanced. Group, semi- private, and private classes are
typically offered for 9-11 weekly sessions beginning in September, November,
and January. All sessions are pro-rated to allow the flexibility of joining
at any time. Group skaters enrolled in the Winter or Spring sessions
are eligible to participate in the Club’s Annual Ice Revue in April—a full-scale
production showcasing talent of our group and private skaters.
